STERIS Steam and Gas Process Indicator Tapes are available for use in wrapping packs for steam and ethylene oxide. The steam tape can be used at 121 ºC (250 ºF), 132 ºC (270 ºF), and 134 ºC (273 ºF). The ethylene oxide (EO) Indicator Tape has the word “GAS” printed on it in a red color that changes to green upon exposure to EO. Both tapes’ surfaces can be written on with indelible ink without smearing or bleeding.
